PB4L Song

PB4L Song

All:
It’s all about value,
It’s all about respect.
Sit next to the people you cope with the best.
This is how our value song begins.

Ana:
1,2,3
All:
HEY!

Ama: You got to know how to sit quietly
All: (shhhhhhhhhhh)
Ama: no matter what you better keep listening
All: (oh yeah)
Ama: Hall manners are important
All: Hall manners are important
All:  For you and me, for, for you and me HEY!

All:
You got to know how to be a role model just to keep use out of trouble

All:
It’s all about value,
It’s all about respect.
Sit next to the people you cope with the best.
This is how our value song begins.

Science Experiment with Sally

SCIENCE EXPERIMENT 20/05/2015

Equipment/materials (what were ALL the things you used to conduct the experiment?): Cardboard/plastic boat which looks like a house with a door, Liquid Soap, toothpick, white pepper, Shallow plastic tray

Hypothesis (what was the prediction you made Before you started doing anything?):  The Soap would move the boat

Steps taken (list as much detail as you can):
  1. Fill the tray with water.
  2. Sprinkle white pepper over the surface of the water.
  3. Put in the boat faced plastic down on the water.
  4. Squeeze soap on the toothpick and put it in the door of the house and now it will start to look like a boat.
  5. The boat will start to move and the white pepper will spread out
  6. This is happening because the soap is going backwards which will make the boat move.
Result (what actually happened, and was it the same as, or different from your prediction?) : The boat did move but I learnt how.

Conclusion (what did you learn from the experiment?):

That water has a surface and a game I can play with my friends. Bugs and insects can walk on the surface of the water.

Anzac

This is about Anzac. I researched some information about Anzac and I wrote what happens and what's it about.

Volume

This will tell you how to calculate the volume of a 3D shape. You need to measure the Height and Length and Width and you multiply them altogether to get the volume. Formula: H x L x W = V

The Fishy Problem

This is a Maths Problem which I can explain very well. THis is a word problem we have done this year.

Maths

This is a Maths Problem we have done this year that I can explain really well. We have been focusing on how many hours a year 6 child has to sleep. We found out we need to sleep 10 hours and we worked out the how many hours of sleep you will miss out on if you only sleep 8 hours for a period of time

Maths x with fairytale

In class we were learning to make Word Problems using fairy tales. It had to be answered with multiplication. I used the fairy tale Cinderella. We had to combine fairytales with maths.
